Cuyahoga County Planning Commission Members
The CPC membership consists of each of the county commissioners and a representative of the county's eight planning regions. Regional representatives are mayors of one of the communities in each region and are appointed by the county commissioners, except for the City of Cleveland representative, who is appointed by the mayor.

Solid Waste Policy Committee
The Cuyahoga Solid Waste Policy Committee's duties and responsibilities are to prepare and adopt the Solid Waste District's solid waste disposal plan to ensure that it is in compliance with the objectives of the state Solid Waste Management Plan and the rules of the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency.
The Solid Waste Policy Committee consists of the members of the CPC and two additional persons; one person representing the industrial, commercial or institutional generators of solid waste and one person representing the general interests of the citizens of the district.
