The Cuyahoga Valley Initiative seeks to influence development patterns, construction practices,
and industrial processes for the next generation using a sustainable development approach based
on the integration of economic, social and ecological systems.
The Cuyahoga County Planning Commission, assisted by the Greenspace Working Group, is in
the midst of developing a plan aimed at preserving the county's greenspace as well as enhancing
and increasing what exists.
Our system provides a variety of environmental database, mapping, and analysis tools to assist
in the redevelopment of brownfield properties.
